This is something that David Smith quickly realizes when his lively and gorgeous wife Ann asks him during breakfast. Also starring in this light-hearted Alfred Hitchcock comedy are the radiant Carole Lombard and the easygoing Robert Montgomery. The Smiths have been happily married for three years, but they also have their fair share of disagreements. When a technicality invalidates their marriage, Mr. Smith finds himself missing Mrs. Smith, setting the stage for a delightful screwball comedy. With a script by Academy Award winner Norman Krasna, Hitchcock showcases his comedic talents in this change of pace film. As Look Magazine pointed out, Hitchcock's unique directorial style shines through in this film. The end result is the same though - another hit from Alfred Hitchcock.
